MISSION AND OBJECTIVES
The Internet Governance Forum Iraq (IGFI) is established with a primary objective—to unite diverse stakeholders including the public sector, civil society, technical community and academia, private sector, and international organizations. Our mission is to facilitate open, multilateral, democratic, and transparent discussions on critical public policy issues related to the Internet, emphasizing security in the virtual environment. Our primary objectives include:
- Raising Awareness: Enhancing understanding and awareness of internet governance-related issues among stakeholders in Iraq.
- Facilitating Collaboration: Providing a platform for multistakeholder discussions, idea exchanges, and collaborative initiatives.
- Global Connection: Bridging perspectives between the Iraqi community and the global IGF agenda, ensuring our voices are heard on the global stage.
