IGF Iraq 2025 marked a historic milestone as Iraq’s first national Internet Governance Forum, held on 30–31 August 2025 at the Babylon Rotana Hotel in Baghdad under the United Nations IGF framework. Organized by Tech4Peace, the forum brought together over 500 participants from government, business, civil society, academia, international organizations, and the tech sector to shape the country’s digital future. The event offered a unique multistakeholder platform to discuss internet governance, digital economy growth, cybersecurity, and online trust in a fast-transforming Iraq.
